    Zidane won the Champions League in a team full of ‘galactico’s’ while Gerrard won it with an average (at best) team.
    Again, he won Serie A with a brilliant team while Gerrard only played last season with his best ever team.
    Im not doubting Zidane is the legend but you cant base it on simply what he has won because you have to take the respective teams into account. Medals only tell half the story

    So essentially what your saying is- because Zidane moved to a bigger and better club at which he won more cups and personal awards than he did at Juve, he has failed?

    Zidane is a legend, up there with the very best to ever play the game. Del Piero is a legend for Juve+Italy but in world football compared to the likes of Zidane, Del Piero is no better than very good.
