@totonno58 Hello Liverpool Dominated Europe between 77-84 i couldn’t give a shit about Juve, Juventus only won 1 European between the years of 60-90 (hardly great), in total they have only won 2 same as Nottingham Forrest…..at the end of the day Liverpool were crowned champions of Europe in 78 something Juventus can’t say.

@5eurocups2005 : We never shall be able to kmow, that…football is strange, at the end only the scores remain!I am sure that a final LIverpool-Juventus in 78 could be unforgettable, because that Juventus, composed by only italian players, (9 members of the fantastic Bearzot’s national team) was one of the greatest italian team ever..hello!

Liverpool would of Slaughtered Juventus in the final if they made it because i doubt they would of played the same as Bruge it would of been much more open, the problem with FC Bruges was they played in such a Defensive way in the final i mean really they were so defensive it was unreal , they were really hard to break down

@totonno58 its a moot point totonno..juve werent good enough to be in the final and really, all other things aside we were the better team at heysel too…losing to a gifted penalty. but that too is a moot point, considering what happened that day…just saying liverpool are the better team

What a feckin bargain you got buying Dalglish from Celtic. £440,000 – Jeez. He won the Liverpool hearts that night & went on to become one of your greatest ever players.
We Celtic fans had watched him winning games on his own and knew you were getting a world-class player
KING KENNY

FC Bruges perhaps deserved to win Uefa Cup in 1976 and could win Champions in 1977(when Juve achieved Urfa cup) but gift tha access to demi-final to Borussia…instead,in 1978,Bruges was very very lucky against Juve(I repea myself) and arrived tired and weak into the final …football is a strange sport!!P.S.However, I recognize Bruges was a Great Team at that time, always winner against all italians, I remember very well!!CIAO!
